About the role:
We are looking for an ambitious SEO specialist to be responsible for the hands-on management of our global Marine brands – Sunsail & The Moorings, part of Travelopia. You will have the opportunity to become an important part of the high-performing digital team, using your expertise to improve rankings, generate traffic and ultimately bookings for our stunning yacht charters.
SEO is a key marketing channel and the team is fully integrated with the business so not only will you be managing SEO for the business, but you will be working closely with our marketing, call centre, product and commercial teams. We have ambitious growth plans, and this role is vital for successfully driving these plans.
What you'll be doing:
Working alongside PPC Specialist to define global SEO strategy & roadmap, including ranking objectives, keyword selection & traffic objectives.
Ensure consistency with PPC activity by working closely with PPC specialist to align on target keywords & organic/paid SERP optimisation.
In collaboration with local marketing teams, develop SEO strategies to meet wider business objectives at an individual market level.
Using tools including AHrefs & Screaming frog, create SEO audits to assess effectiveness of current activity and recommend improvements.
Work with local marketing teams to implement on-page SEO including metadata, keyword optimised content & URL structure.
Work with Content Manager & to implement content SEO strategy.
Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes, working with web development & product teams to create a clear workflow using project management tools such as JIRA.
Direct off-page optimisation projects e.g. link-building.
Tracking & Reporting
Monitor search performance and develop reports to ensure key SEO performance is shared with relevant stakeholders at a weekly, monthly & quarterly level.
Benchmark performance through relevant market research, to ensure we are making the most of all opportunities.
Identifying and fixing tracking issues with Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager.
Conducting quarterly channel reviews to share knowledge with the wider team.
Continuously improve SEO processes to ensure work is delivered efficiently and timely.
Keeping up to date with the latest SEO developments and best practice.
Identify and recommend SEO conferences and resources to keep the business at the forefront of SEO innovation.
Must be willing to actively share knowledge and drive SEO training for other team members.
