We have an exciting opportunity for a driven marketing professional who is a fluent French speaker to join our Cape Town-based team working for 2 of our exciting marine brands - Sunsail and The Moorings.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager France and Southern Europe, the Online Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing the online marketing strategy for The Moorings & Sunsail charter brands across our digital platforms, supporting the success of our acquisition, engagement, and conversion targets.
This includes managing the website updates and Social Media platforms for The Moorings and Sunsail brands, primarily in French, liaising with the company’s CRM, SEO and PPC teams to ensure optimization in those areas, and assisting the Marketing Manager with day-to-day Marketing activities including online advertising, email marketing, and web content updates.
The role’s scope includes ensuring consistency in brand marketing and development and helping reinforce the brand experience through relevant consumer touchpoints. With the majority of global content being created in English, content translations are a necessary part of the role as well as messaging adaptations where applicable to suit the French market.
What you will be doing
Planning, creating, and maintaining editorial content for the websites
Support PPC and SEO activities
Creating and sending out e-newsletters
Managing our social media channels and creating content
Co-organisation and implementation of online and customer events
Assist with any marketing collaterals required ahead of boat shows
Development and implementation of activities for new customer acquisition and customer retention
Work closely with the CRM team to support any upcoming activity, and find new audience segmentation opportunities
Project responsibility for online brochures
Media listening, monitoring, and analysis
Seizing marketing opportunities and initiating cooperation’s
Support offline marketing activities, as and when needed
Assist Senior Marketing Manager with the management of Budgets and invoices processing
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will be bilingual; fluent in English and French (native), have proven experience in a similar marketing-based role, and have a strong familiarity with Social Media business tools. We are looking for you to have experience working with a customer database to develop segmentation and direct marketing strategies and demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent internal and third-party relationships. We want you to have a passion for the customer and brand as well as a passion for the travel industry. The ability to help coordinate, manage, and attend various Boat Shows and Events will also be beneficial.
